Week One

The puppies are here! We had originally got confirmation from our vet that there was going to be 7 in this litter upon x-ray. It looks like we got a little too excited and counted 1 too many. We are so blessed to have our 6 arrive healthy, all while our Bella stayed in tip top shape to care for them. We really like to focus on mom’s care because she will be doing most of the work that a good momma should these first weeks.

As for the puppies we have their charts to be keeping track of their progress in weight gain, feedings with momma, and overall notes on their characteristics. On day 3 we begin with ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) to improve the developmental well being of our litter in adapting to stress as they grow. Also on day 3, we start ESI (Early Scent Introduction) to see which of our pups has a particular attraction for using their nose more than the rest, this potential we catch early on can give you best chances at trying out for Allergy Detection Service Dog training have better odds of completion of program. Our puppies are handled by our children and family members in our home to teach a positive association with human touch early on.

With Christmas around the corner we decided on a Christmas theme, meet our special little pups
